Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Loved But Never Reviewed

Hi all!

My name is Chiara and I am a Bookworm.

How are you?

I had a lot of fun last week and I did a lot of blog hopping seeing what colourful books you all had chosen and will hopefully (word depending) be doing even more blog hopping today. I’d really love it if you leave you links and I’ll check out them all.

Before I tell you about this week’s topic I want to tell you all about the meme. TTT is a weekly bookmeme that is going ten years strong that was originally created by The Broke and The Bookish in 2010 and switched to That Artsy Reader Girl in 2018.

This week’s topic is Books I’ve Loved but never reviewed, which given how many books I have read in my entire life time vs how long I have been reviewing books and running my blog, there are a lot of books that I haven’t reviewed.

I could make this list incredibly long, but I won’t; I’ll just stick to my top ten favourites.

13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson

Goodreads | Waterstones

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Goodreads | Waterstones

I lost count of haw many time I read Pride and Prejudice by the time I turned 13. It was (or rather, still is) my all time favourite book. I don’t think I’ll ever review it because what could I say about such a wonderful book.

Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett

Goodreads | Waterstones

I’ve not read Secret Garden nearly as I have read Pride and Prejudice but it is right up there on books that I don’t think I could review because of how much I admire them. They are both classics for a reason.

Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah

Goodreads | Waterstones

I think this may be the only autobiography that I have ever read. I have had this book on many lists in the past but I can’t recommend it highly enough. I had to read it in school and school and I was enjoying it so much in class that I went to the library and borrowed it, read it in one night and cried my eyes out.

Kissing Booth by Beth Reekles

Goodreads | Waterstones

Despite not loving the second book in the Kissing Booth series, I do absolutely adore the first one and it is still a book I read on a yearly basis.

Galagher Girls series by Ally Carter

Goodreads | Waterstones

This is another series of books that I have talked about many times while doing lists but I don’t think I will review it, unless some time in the future I do a series review. Oh, that is an idea!

Rich People Problems by Kevin Kwan

Goodreads | Waterstones

I adored this series when I read it last year but when I finally got round to finishing book three and I never got round to writing a review of the final book which for many reasons may have been my favourite of the series.

Relics by Michael Jan Friedman

Goodreads | Waterstones

Now I haven’t read a lot of Star Trek books but I have watched a lot of the tv series. When I watched the Relic’s episode for the first time my father came and handed me his old battered copy of Relics. The book is, in my opinion, is better than even the tv episode, which is pretty brilliant.

Most of Rick Riordan’s books

I’m going to leave this list here because this last one is many, many books. I have loved every Rick Riordan book I have ever read but I am slowly making my way through, re-reading the books and reviewing them but I think my review vs. non-review ration is about 4:20.
