My Thoughts

I have enjoyed this book almost as much as I enjoyed the first two, perhaps even more. Noah and Alexis may even be my favourite characters yet.

I love the relationship between the two of them, before their even is a relationship. They were best friends, but they were always each other’s everything, from the moment they met it seemed. You don’t see much of Alexis and Noah together in the previous book, though each of them have prominent roles, but you do see their first real conversation in this book and they just clicked. In the book they are so nerdy with each other, talking lego and computer code. If there was ever a perfect match, this was it.

All our other favourites are back. Mack and Liv, Gavin and Thea. Del. And even the Russian. The Russian may be my favourite sidekick ever, though I do think we need to know more about him soon. There is such a mystery around the guy.

If you have read any of the other Bromance books then you will know that this group of boys are all about read romance books and treating them as ‘manuals’ for how women want to be treated, a concept that when I told my bestie, she said it needed to be a real thing. Mack was breaking down Noah manual for him and discerning what it means for real life and it struck me that Adams is dissecting the genre while creating a perfect example of the genre.

A final point I want to make about this book is that the story felt incredibly personal to the author. For Alexis to go through what she did, I think the author herself may have a story to tell.

I recommend this to all romance lovers, or even let this series be your introduction to romance. It is worth all five stars and probably a good few more.
