Book Tag Friday: The Greek Myths

Good morning, everyone!

My name is Chiara and I am a bookworm.

It is a very early morning when I am writing this and I am yawning at my desk. I might go and have a kip after I’ve done this.

This week’s book tag I found on A Little But A Lot, a blog hosted by the wonderful Steph. You might recognise that blog title if you follow my #SixForSunday series because she is our wonderful host who sets us the most interesting topics every month.

I love Greek myths, in particular because of my love of Percy Jackson and I can’t wait to get through this one.

Zeus, The King, Sky God: Favourite Book

I hat choosing favourite books … I feel like it makes all the other books feel bad because they haven’t been chosen. Do I really have to choose one?

If I have to choose I’ll going to have to choose then I’ll chose my last five star read.

Hera, The Queen Goddess of Family and Marriage: Cutest couple?

There are so many cute couples but I think I may just have to go for Percabeth. Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase

Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and Battle Strategy: Favourite intelligent heroine?

I just did a #S4S post all about ‘clever’ characters but if I had to choose just one it would be Annabeth Chase.

Gaia, The Great Mother: Favourite world building book?

I think my queen of world building is definitely Sarah J. Maas. She build such amazing worlds. I love Throne of Glass … that series is just … beyond words.

Aries, God of War and Battle: Most violent book you’ve ever read?

I don’t read many violent books. The world is violent enough, why would I choose to read more?

Hephaestus, God of Blacksmiths and Flame – Hottest book you’ve ever read?

The boys in the Billionaire Aviator books by Melody Anne may be some of the hottest books that I have ever read.

Artemis, The Virgin Goddess of the Hunt: A heroine who doesn’t need a man to save her?

All my favourite heroines don’t need a man, but my absolute favourite, one who is surrounded by men that are constantly trying to protect her and she really doesn’t need it is Aelin Galathynius

Apollo, God of Music, Light and Healing: A book that is the exception to a genre you don’t like?

As a general rule I don’t like mystery and detective series, about the only exception to that is the Sherlock Holmes books.

The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Hermes, God of messages, Travelers and Thieves – a book that stole your heart?

My favourite romance at the moment even though it has been a few months since I read it is…

A book that I always go back to is…

Demeter, Goddess of Agriculture and Fertility: Favourite book setting?

If I had to choose I would say that I prefer school based books, or palace based books. Both have the most capacity for adventure in my opinion.

Dionysus, God of Wine and Feasting: A book you are most anticipating in the next year?

I think that my most anticipated book for the rest of this year is…

Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline

Hecate, Goddess of Crossroads and Magic: Favourite magical read?

I hate choosing like this. Why do I put myself through it?

Nemesis, God of Revenge: Favourite revenge story?

I’m not sure what I would class as a revenge story. Your ideas and suggestions may be helpful for this one.

This is an incredibly long post so I completely understand if you haven’t got this far, but if you have then I hope that you consider doing this post.

Until next time, happy reading!
