We might as well face it … we’re addicted to books
The characters that Janovsky created are really hard not to fall in love with. There is so much depth to the characters, and I love how they grow and develop through the book. They are really fun and light, but serious and explore heavier matters as the book progresses.
I have been waiting a long time to review this book. I saw it when it was announced ages a go and I really thought that I would have to wait until it was published till I got to read it but then Dave announced the blog tour.
What fictional places have you always longed to go to? Teenage me loved all these places and I still can't wait to go. Send me my letter, let a monster attack me, let me become a spy. I'll even die a honourable death to get myself into Valhalla.
A new month, means a new topic and this month's topic is entirely inspired by Viper by Bex Hogan. I own the book, but I haven't read it yet. I think I started when I bought it but I need to read it. All the posts this month might inspire me to pick it up again.
A lot of the time I wish I had any job but the one I have. Does anyone else do that? Well, when I'm in a wishing mood I turn to literature. I escape into fantasy and I dream of the jobs that my characters have.
This week's topic was books that have made me cry but I'm not a huge crier and I'm not really feeling the list so I came up with another. Series I've started and not yet finished.
Each week we have a different topic and this week's topic is books that make me laugh out loud. I love to laugh at my books and my family always give me weird looks when I do.
Last week the final book in the Cursebreakers trilogy came out so I thought it was about time that I shared my review of the first book which I read at the end of last year.
I can't believe how long it took me to pick up the next book in the Geekerella series. I devoured the first one in a matter of hours, and the second one was no different. I could hardly put it down and the book really spoke to me.
WWW Wednesday sees its 30th post here on Bookworms Anonymous, which I didn't think I would see in a million years because, and lets be honest, I am not a fast reader and I have gone a month without finishing a book and this part of my blog won't get updated for extended periods of time. But let me tell you something ... I've finished a book!
