We might as well face it … we’re addicted to books
One of my favourite things about Hall's work is the variety of people that she includes in her work. She includes people from all walks of life, including a few members of the peerage, and sometimes it feels like she tries to tick off as many members of the rainbow as she can, but I think that is better representation than you'll find in most books.
The characters that Janovsky created are really hard not to fall in love with. There is so much depth to the characters, and I love how they grow and develop through the book. They are really fun and light, but serious and explore heavier matters as the book progresses.
I was so excited to read this book but I have very mixed feeling now that I have read it. I hope I've managed to make my thoughts make sense but apologies in advance if they make no sense AT ALL.
Today I would like to introduce you to the book that got me back into reading. I don't know what about it set me off but it's started something and now I just can't stop.
I have been waiting a long time to review this book. I saw it when it was announced ages a go and I really thought that I would have to wait until it was published till I got to read it but then Dave announced the blog tour.
I don't generally do a TBR and though I did do a mini one in my February wrap up I don't want to jinx myself too much by doing another one so I'm doing a want to read eventually list of all the latest releases that I haven't had chance to read yet.
I didn't realise that I had read so many new authors and I could barely get the list down to fifteen, never mind ten, so this week's list will be a bit longer.
The characters were so vibrant and danced right off the page. They were so weird and wacky that you couldn't help but laugh out loud. It is so hard to pick a favourite from all the characters we know but Luc is surrounded by some amazingly awesome people who will always have is back and know how to laugh at him as well,
I can't believe how long it took me to pick up the next book in the Geekerella series. I devoured the first one in a matter of hours, and the second one was no different. I could hardly put it down and the book really spoke to me.
WWW Wednesday sees its 30th post here on Bookworms Anonymous, which I didn't think I would see in a million years because, and lets be honest, I am not a fast reader and I have gone a month without finishing a book and this part of my blog won't get updated for extended periods of time. But let me tell you something ... I've finished a book!
